families actually contracting the virus but we are blessed that they all recovered. So with this new normal, 9
families braved the weather and the virus, and decided to camp this weekend, whilst observing the health
protocols as best they can.

On Saturday morning, some ventured away from camp for breakfast whilst most of the families remained
and enjoyed breakfast at camp. The rest of the day was spent relaxing and checking the clouds for rain.
Mercifully, the rain held off, the geselsvuur was lit and the evening was spent braaing and chatting around

The weather continued to influence the weekend and on Sunday morning, we awoke to the sound of the rain
and at Indaba time, it continued to rain but as always we managed to improvise and we all gathered in the
laundry room for the Indaba. Later some members aiming to get the most of the weekend braaied for
Sunday lunch whilst others packed up under clear skies and headed for home.
Thanks to everyone for a lovely weekend and please stay safe….
